Christmas Through the Eyes of Children from Palestine and Israel . . . Advent Series…

  • During the season of Advent, we will be hosting an intergenerational curriculum called “Christmas Through the Eyes of Children from Palestine and Israel.” This three Sunday series begins Sunday, December 6, from 10:00-10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. We will visit Nazareth, Bethlehem, and Beit Sahour and meet Nagham, Ronza, and Marianne– three children who live in the cities where the Nativity story takes place. Through personal and often painful stories, the message of the Advent and the promise of hope, joy and love found in Jesus’ birth is conveyed in new and meaningful ways. You will not want to miss this! Ages 0-99 are welcome, especially families! This program was created by Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ as a part of the Global Ministries Middle East Initiative.
