Hillyer has been a steadfast supporter of CROP Walk since the first Raleigh walk sponsored by Church World Service in 1975. It has been an important outreach effort for our youth and congregation ever since. In honor of the Centennial, we have set a goal of 100 participants (walkers/donors). Our theme for this year is “Stop Hunger Cold.” If we meet our goal, the top adult fundraiser will have the opportunity to douse Rev. Mallory with a bucket of ice. The top youth fundraiser will be able to douse Rev. Campbell. Forms will be available Sundays following 11:00 a.m. worship beginning September 21. For more information, contact Scott Gray, Scott Dickinson or Courtney Biedell. After the walk, Hillyer Live! Handbells will practice.
